Organizing etc.

Network for Tenure Track Assistant Professors at University of Copenhagen - Organizer - 2022 / Now

With Johanna Falby Lindell, I co-founded a cross-faculty network comprising all assistant professors on the tenure track. Our focus is facilitating experience sharing, fostering potential interdisciplinary collaborations, and organizing social gatherings.

Law Shifters - Concept Developer and Organizer - 2015 / 2019

I helped performance artist Stine Marie Jacobsen develop Mann Beißt Hund and conceptualize and start Law Shifters. Both projects engage young citizens (ages 10-17) in law and democracy by letting them act as lawyers, judges, and legislators. Participants re-judge real court cases and write new laws that reflect their realities. MBH was set up in Overgaden, Denmark, and Law Shifters has been set up all over the world, including Denmark, Germany, Greenland, and Lebanon.

Nørrebro Park School Project - Organizer and Role Model - 2016 / 2019

We helped students from some of the more challenged neighborhoods see the opportunities that come with an education. We followed the kids through grades 7-9. Each month, we met with them at their schools or took them on excursions to potential future employers (Novozymes, Maersk, or McDonalds). The first class graduating from the program was also the first in the school’s recent history, where all students continued onto a secondary education. I acted as a role model and helped organize student excursions to different companies and educational experiences such as moot courts.

Danish Students Abroad - Youtube Manager, Role Model, Presenter - 2013 / 2015

DSA promotes and lobbies for opportunities for Danish students to study abroad. I mainly managed the organization’s YouTube profile, interviewing Danes who took degrees from around the world and making short videos of these interviews. I also advised students wishing to study at elite US institutions. I held informational talks at several Danish universities and high schools.
